Our very last @BIC of the year is first rate: Sir Martin Sorrell talks shop with BIC Professor and Board Member Michael Farmer as he reflects on his extraordinary career and why he’s committed to steering the industry forward with his new venture S4 Capital. This very special @BIC Event will begin at 5PM on Tuesday, May 7th at The Princeton Club of New York. Afterwards, there will be a reception and book signing of Michael Farmer’s third edition of Madison Avenue Manslaughter with a forward and chapter by Sir Martin Sorrell.

ABOUT Sir Martin Sorrell: In 2018, Executive Chairman Sir Martin Sorrell launched S4 Capital, merging with MediaMonks and MightyHive to create a new age, new era digital advertising and marketing services platform. Sir Martin was CEO of WPP for 33 years, building it from a $1.3 million "shell" company in 1985 into the world's largest advertising and marketing services company, with a market value of $20 billion, 170,000 employees, and 3,000 offices in 112 countries. He is the longest-serving chief executive of a FTSE 100 company. Sir Martin supports a number of leading business schools and universities, including his alma maters Harvard Business School and Cambridge University, as well as charities and his family foundation. He is married to Lady Cristiana Falcone-Sorrell and has four children and seven grandchildren.
The book brings Bain-like analytical, strategic and leadership disciplines to the advertising industry, winning four publisher's awards for best marketing / advertising book of 2016.
